Captain of Golden Princess Named
Sailing on Princess’ Golden Princess? You may spy a few familiar faces. The Grand Princess sister ship, which launches in May, is poaching some of its top officers. Captain Bernie Warner, currently captain aboard Grand Princess, and who previously helmed Island Princess, Pacific Princess, Royal Princess and Dawn Princess, will command the new vessel. He began his seagoing career as a cadet with P&O in 1966. Martin Ford will serve as Passenger Services Director, a position he currently holds aboard Grand Princess. And Cruise Director will be Alastair Greener, who now serves in the same capacity aboard Grand Princess.
