Celebrity Introduces On-Board Acupuncture
Celebrity's offering a completely new twist on traditional spa services with the introduction of on-board acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture, an ancient Chinese medical practice, is a treatment in which specialists insert very fine needles into the body's surface to influence "physiological function of the body," according to Acupuncture.com

The addition of acupuncture to spa services is a trial program and will be introduced only on Celebrity's Infinity on three different voyages – September 26, October 8 and October 19. Practitioners are fully accredited and are affiliated with the Oriental Medicine Alliance of Coconut Grove (Florida). Cost will be $100 for the first treatment, $85 for a return visit and $250 for a three-treatment package.

Acupuncture is said to be useful in enhancing the body's immune and mental functions. Other key results include increasing energy levels and helping with appetite control and stress and pain management.
