Norway Leaves Miami Via Tugboat

June 27, 2003
Early Friday morning, the S/S Norway received clearance from the U.S. Coast Guard to depart Miami and is on its way to the English Channel. The ship is being towed by a seagoing tugboat and is carrying 85 crew members. NCL estimates the trip will take about three weeks.

The company has yet to identify which shipyard will handle repairs but says the ship is on schedule to resume passenger sailings on October 5, as previously announced.
