| Radisson Says Adios To Hanseatic |
Radisson Seven Seas has announced that its upcoming Antarctica
itineraries -- November 2003 - January 2004 -- will sail on Explorer II, an
expedition cruise ship. Hanseatic, the "Radisson" ship that previously has
handled adventure-related cruises (Radisson Seven Seas never owned
Hanseatic, just handled sales and marketing) goes back to its original home.
Two of Expedition II's Antarctic ventures are shared charters with
Abercrombie & Kent, the upscale tour operator. The other two are wholly
Radisson Seven Seas. The Expedition II has a capacity of 394 but the folks
at Radisson Seven Seas say the ship will carry no more than 198 passengers.
The ship has all-ocean view cabins (suites have balconies) and open seating
dining. | |
