| Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Alter Cancellation Rules |
Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are offering an amended cancellation policy for
cruise travelers who have booked passage on some Mediterranean cruises this
summer. Effective immediately, passengers who elect to cancel their voyage
-- affecting a variety of sailings though not all -- by May 1 will receive a
cruise credit for a future trip that's equal to 90 percent of the
cancellation fees. This new policy applies only to the following:
*Royal Caribbean's Brilliance of the Seas (May 12 - October 26) and
Splendour of the Seas (May 24 - October 18).
*Celebrity Cruises' Constellation (September 12 - October 13) and
Millennium (May 11 - October 26).
The credits may be used on any sailing except for those during the Christmas
and New Year's holidays. The credits are valid for one year from issue
date, are not transferable and have no cash value. Royal Caribbean/Celebrity
also stresses that this amendment is not a replacement for vacation
insurance. | |
