Princess Releases Exotic Itineraries for 2018-19

Beginning in 2018, six Princess ships will sail exotic itineraries that include Southeast Asia, China, Hawaii and Alaska, among other regions. Notably, Princess will be sending its largest ship, Royal Princess, to South America for a 49-night voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles that will sail around Cape Horn. A world cruise is also offered, featuring overnights in Cape Town and Singapore, as well as a circumnavigation of the Cape of Good Hope. In all, the 27 exotic voyages encompass five continents and 93 ports in 47 countries.


Windstar Adds New Med and Northern Europe Sailings for 2018

Small-ship line Windstar Cruises has added eight new Northern Europe and 12 new Mediterranean itineraries to its 2018 cruise lineup. Featuring 26 new ports of call for the line, the new itineraries will focus on experiences limited to smaller vessels, such as sailing under London's Tower Bridge and cruising the narrow Trollfjord in Norway's Lofoten Islands. New offerings range from seven nights to multiple weeks, with options such as a unique roundtrip Edinburgh sailing to the Faroe, Shetland and Orkney islands and an 11-night voyage stopping along both sides of the Adriatic as well as Italy's Mediterranean coast.


Holland America Line Adds to its 2017-18 Mexico Program

Adding to its existing 2017-18 Mexico program, Holland America Line has launched 11 new sailings in the region on the 1,964-passenger Oosterdam. Joining the line's Westerdam in Mexico, the ship will sail roundtrip from San Diego from September 2017 through February 2018. Itineraries include the seven-day Mexican Riviera sailings with calls to Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta.


Carnival Elation to Sail New Bermuda and Bahamas Itinerary, April 2018

Carnival Cruise Line's Jacksonville-based Carnival Elation will offer a brand-new eight-day itinerary to Bermuda and the Bahamas, departing April 7, 2018. The ship -- currently operating year-round four- and five-day sailings from its Florida homeport -- will stay overnight in Heritage Wharf, Bermuda, and feature an extended stay in the line's private island, Half Moon Cay.
