Norwegian Jewel Adds New Ports, Onboard Credit and Free Perks to Australian and New Zealand Cruises

(11:40 a.m. AEST) -- Norwegian Cruise Line has expanded the destinations to be visited by Norwegian Jewel during its first season in Australia and New Zealand next summer. New ports of call include Adelaide, Hobart, Milford Sound and Bay of Islands. For a limited time, passengers will also receive up to US$500 onboard credit per cabin on Australia and New Zealand sailings departing between 12 November 2017 and 10 February 2018.

Additionally, Norwegian’s ‘Free at Sea’ drinks package has been extended until 10 April 2017. Five free offers can be added to a cruise booking, depending on the stateroom category, including the beverage package; a dining package for six specialty restaurants onboard Jewel; 250 minutes free Wi-Fi; US$50 per port shore excursion credit, and the option to bring a third and fourth guest at a reduced rate.

Refurbished in 2014, Norwegian Jewel can carry up 2,376 passengers and 1,069 crew. It has a waterpark, eight complimentary restaurants, six specialty dining venues, as well as cafés, a bake shop, a casino, a cabaret lounge and a wide range of bars specialising in champagne, beer and whiskey, sake, mojito and poolside cocktails, sports courts, gym, Mandara Spa and Spa Thermal Suite. Accommodation aboard Norwegian Jewel ranges from cost-effective inside staterooms through to balcony staterooms enjoying superb views and private outdoor areas. Interconnecting rooms and multiple-bedroom suites are also available for families. Those in the market for a truly indulgent experience will adore Norwegian Jewel’s ultra-exclusive ‘The Haven’, home to the most luxurious suites and villas, many with private courtyards, spas, pools, deck areas, and dedicated concierge services.
