(4:52 p.m. EST) -- Beginning in November, fans of "Beauty and the Beast" can enjoy a new Disney Cruise Line musical production show of the same name aboard Disney Dream.
Joining the ranks of the"Golden Mickeys" and "Disney Believe," "Beauty and the Beast" will debut on Disney Dream's November 6 voyage. The production, set inside a music box, will feature favorite songs from the animated film, as well as new tunes from Disney's live-action remake, which will be showing in theaters and on Disney ships beginning March 17.
In addition to music and dancing, the show will employ high-definition projections, elaborate costumes and puppetry; enchanted objects -- think Lumiere, Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts -- will come to life on stage.
This will mark the third consecutive year that Disney has launched a new musical production aboard its cruise ships. The first,"Tangled, the Musical," rolled out on Disney Magic in fall 2015, and"Frozen, the Musical" joined Disney Wonder in fall 2016.
