| Pillow Menu Added to QE2 |
As cruise lines increasingly incorporate "land resort" touches into the at-sea experience, Cunard announces it has created a new position on QE2: that of a "pillow concierge." Pillow menus are already a hot-new-trend at
hotels, ranging from deluxe to boutique-style. In a nutshell, Cunard's program means that passengers will have a veritable menu of pillow-types from which to choose. Beyond the standard-sized down variety, options include king-size feather blend, standard- and king-size synthetic, 100 percent goose down, U-shaped, neck rolls, companion and head support cushions.
The pillow concierge program is slated to launch on Queen Elizabeth 2 in January; Cunard plans to offer the service on Queen Mary 2 as well though not on Caronia. | |
