Carnival will expand its Bermuda offerings to 11 different sailings next
year. The cruise line has slated the new Carnival Pride (not as new as
Legend...but still a this-year's ship) to sail a series of seven-day
itineraries from New York. Sister ship Carnival Legend will handle six day
voyages out of the newly hot ports of Philadelphia and Baltimore.
The hard-won (by Carnival) agreement to expand to 11 different sailings is
quite an achievement for the cruise line because Bermuda is notoriously
stingy with the amount of berths it allocates to cruise lines.
In every case, the ships will spend their entire call at Bermuda (about four
days) docked at King's Wharf.
