HAL Adds "Sampler" cruises
"Sampler" cruises -- those of the three- and four-day variety -- are pretty commonplace in Florida, California's Mexican Riviera and even on the New York/New England fall foliage route, but not a usual option in the Pacific Northwest. So it seems pretty nifty that Holland America is announcing it has revised its autumn schedule to offer short itineraries on ships this fall. Amsterdam will sail a Pacific Northwest "highlights" cruise roundtrip out of Seattle September 28 -- visiting Vancouver and Victoria in British Columbia. Vancouver roundtrips will also be available on Zaandam (October 5, October 8) and Veendam (September 29).
