The long-running Queen tribute musical -- which only ended its 12-year run in London's West End in May this year -- will be showing on the Southampton-based ship from April 2015, according to the report. The news was announced during a yard visit to sister ship Quantum of the Seas, last week.
There is no official statement from Royal Caribbean yet, but according to Cruise Critic member Mich455 writing on the Cruise Critic Message Boards the line also made the announcement at a travel agent presentation:
"I was at a royal Caribbean TA presentation on Anthem today and they did confirm We Will Rock You will be the musical onboard. They will also have the after show party with the cast, same as what they are doing with Mamma Mia on Quantum."
Royal Caribbean has pioneered the way with showcasing Broadway and West End shows onboard its ships, including Chicago and Hairspray, often with original cast members.
