U.K. Cruise Line Unveils Expanded Spa
rendering of P&O Cruises' newest ship Britannia

(3:19 p.m. EDT) – P&O Cruises is rolling out the largest wellness facilities in its history to Britannia, its newbuild currently under construction and scheduled to launch March 2015. Both gym and spa equipment and services will be included, as well as extensive menu of spa treatments and fitness classes.

As part of the new space, the Oasis Spa will feature a private villa for couples or groups. The Oasis Villa is a private area for couples or groups of friends to unwind with their own whirlpool and spa therapist for a treatment of their choice.

Treatment options in the spa have been expanded. P&O's first Spa Shop also will open featuring skin and hair care products from Elemis, La Therapie, Phyto, Bliss and Sebastian.

Also making its debut for P&O is the salon blowout menu, which includes blow dry, hair styling and make-up application.

Like fleetmates, Ventura and Azura, Britannia will feature The Retreat, a VIP open-air deck venue, where crew serve cold flannels, chilled drinks and snacks and alfresco spa treatments are offered in private cabanas.
