The outdoor bistro-style grill area by the Lido pool is open onboard Eurodam, Amsterdam and Maasdam. The remaining ships in the fleet will be opening the eatery throughout this summer.
Among the burgers on offer are: The Gainer, which is served with a mound of crispy onions; The Cannonball, served with Gouda cheese, applewood smoked bacon and sweet caramelized onions; and the High-Dive with cheddar cheese. Signature hot dogs include: the Dive-In Dog with mustard and crispy onions; the Dog Paddle with sauerkraut, crispy bacon bits and German mustard; and the Dunkin' Dog, topped with a melted cheese sauce, pickled jalapenos and chopped red onions.
Not in the mood for red meat or pork? The Black Flip chicken breast burger is topped with guacamole, while the Freestyle is a vegetarian burger with grilled portabella mushroom, Gouda and cheddar cheeses, avocado and the line's Dive-In sauce.
The existing Taco Bar will continue to be available at the Dive-In at the Terrace Grill.
Barbecued burgers and hot dogs at sea is a trend that really took off when Carnival brought Guy's Burgers to Carnival Breeze. Norwegian Cruise Line features NYC-style hot dogs stands onboard Norwegian Breakaway, while Royal Caribbean will introduce a hot dog-serving food cart onboard Quantum of the Seas.
