Strike Deters Princess Cruise Ship Port Call

(3:25 p.m. EST) -- Princess Cruises' Coral Princess skipped a port call to Limon, Costa Rica, scheduled for today after public workers announced they will be demonstrating all day. Instead the ship, visited Princess Cay, the line's private island.

Passengers will receive refunds of any government taxes and fees associated with the Costa Rica port as well as refunds of excursions prebooked through the cruise line.

The citywide protest involves school teachers, health workers, public university students, taxi drivers, and members of various unions.
