Cruise Ship Passenger Falls Two Decks
(1:10 p.m. EDT) -- A passenger aboard Norwegian Breakaway fell two decks Tuesday, September 17, breaking her ribs.

"The guest accidently fell from her balcony on Deck 10 to Deck 8 and was disembarked in Bermuda for medical treatment on Tuesday," confirmed a Norwegian spokeswoman via e-mail. According to the Bermuda Sun, the woman was initially treated on Breakaway, and then the ship made an unscheduled stop near the east end of the island so the woman could be transferred to a pilot boat and on to a hospital.

Breakaway, which had departed New York on Sunday, arrived in King's Wharf as scheduled Wednesday.
