Charges Filed in Grand Cayman Assault on Cruise Ship Passenger
Grand Cayman (1:19 p.m. EDT) -- A year after a cruise ship passenger was attacked while on shore in Grand Cayman, police have filed charges against the man accused of sexually assaulting her.

According to Grand Cayman newspaper Caymanian Compass, Royal Cayman Islands Police said that three counts of indecent assault were filed against a 43-year-old tour boat captain. The victim, a New Jersey woman who was on a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise at the time, alleges she was sexually assaulted by the captain in a downtown George Town building after she asked him for directions to a bathroom.

The man was originally arrested in mid-September 2012. His trial is scheduled for the end of October.
