| Nieuw Amsterdam Chartered |
| Nieuw Amsterdam has found a nieuw home. The longtime Holland America ship, sold to U.S. Lines where it sailed Hawaii-based itineraries under the Patriot moniker (until that line went belly-up and the ship was reclaimed by HAL parent Carnival Corp.), has been chartered to a European line. The ship, now called the Thomson Spirit, will be operated out of the United Kingdom by Thomson Holidays. | |
