FBI Concludes Investigation of Cruise Passenger Death

March 28, 2013
Enchantment of the Seas (3:03 p.m. EST) -- The FBI has concluded that the death of a passenger onboard Enchantment of the Seas last weekend was the result of heart failure and not suspicious in nature.

According to the medical examiner 64-year-old Katherine Kennedy died of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardio vascular disease, FBI Special Agent Richard Wolf told Cruise Critic.

The FBI had been investigating the death because "circumstances" made it seem different than a typical onboard heart attack. The FBI didn't elaborate on what circumstances caused them to investigate.
