Cruise News Shorts: Norwegian Annouces IPO, Uniworld Expands Inclusions, And More
(1:46 p.m. EST) -- Every week we catch wind of so much cruise news, we don't always know what to do with it all, but a few standout bits sometimes catch our attention. Here are some interesting cruise tidbits we think you might like to know about.

Norwegian Cruise Line Announces IPO
Norwegian has announced the launch of its initial public offering of more than 23 million shares. If approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the shares will be listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market as NCLH.

Introducing… Un-Cruise Adventures
InnerSea Discoveries/American Safari Cruises has officially changed its name to Un-Cruise Adventures. According to the line, the new name reflects the direction the company is headed – toward more un-cruise like adventures. "With a cap of 88 guests, we are able to experience more of the destinations through a wide range of activities." The line operates six small ships that sail in Alaska, Hawaii, British Columbia and Mexico's Sea of Cortes, as well as on the Columbia and Snake Rivers and along the coast of Washington. The seventh and newest ship, Safari Legacy will debut in August 2013. The line's new URL will be un-cruise.com.

Uniworld to Expand All-Inclusive Inclusions
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will expand the range of services and amenities included in its all-inclusive pricing for 2014. Included items are unlimited fine wine, beer and spirits and all gratuities for onboard and onshore services, including pre- and post-cruise extensions. Uniworld pricing already includes all nonalcoholic beverages, fine wine and beer served at lunch and dinner onboard, hosted shore excursions, free Internet and Wi-Fi, and all arrival and departure day transfers.

Regent Launches Luxury Blog
Regent Seven Seas Cruises launched a new blog, Luxury Goes Exploring, which explores the "tastes and traditions" of the destinations the line visits. The blog also offers insider tips and destination information that passengers can use when planning their cruise. Mara Papatheodorou, a former editor at Bon Appétit magazine, will act as special contributing editor.
