Cruise Line Q&A: What Does Celebrity's New CEO Have In Store For the Line? Ask Him!

September 25, 2012
(4:10 p.m. EDT) – There's a new president and CEO in town at Celebrity Cruises, though he's not new to the Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. (RCCL) family. Michael Bayley has been with RCCL for 30 years serving as an executive vice president overseeing the worldwide expansion of the company, which is comprised of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises and a trio of European lines. But last month when former Celebrity head honcho Dan Hanrahan stepped down, Bayley was given the job of overseeing just the that brand.

Curious about what's next for the cruise line? Wondering how Celebrity trains its chefs, plans excursions, sets its fares -- or what's in store now that its last Solstice-class ship is about to launch? Bayley will begin answering questions on October 1, but you can ask your questions now.
