Celebrity Adults-Only Cruises
Ever been frozen out of a hot tub commandeered by a group of rowdy kids? In this era when family-oriented cruises are increasingly popular, there are still some passengers who prefer a more sedate onboard experience. That’s why Celebrity is trying out a pilot program called “Celebrity Escape” where the key element -- actually, the only distinguishing characteristic -- is that on four specially designated voyages no one under 21 is permitted. Among the options include an 11-day western Caribbean trip on Millennium, a seven-day version of the same itinerary on Mercury and Horizon, and a 10-day Hawaiian cruise on Infinity.
