Live From New York, Will Norwegian Breakaway's Next Reveal Be a Showstopper?
Where in the World is Cruise Critic? Cruise Critic is heading into New York City at 7:30 p.m. EDT for what we're promised will be a rocking, entertainment-related announcement about Norwegian Breakaway.

What's All the Fuss About? The 4,000 passenger Breakaway, due out in April 2013, is Norwegian Cruise Line's first of two "Project Breakway" vessels that the line says will "break away" from the cruising mold. (Sister ship, Norwegian Getaway, will debut in 2014.) Breakaway is the first new-build since the very successful 4,100-passenger Norwegian Epic debuted in 2010. Epic's standout entertainment options -- including the well-known "Blue Man Group" and "Legends in Concert" -- have distinguished the ship from its rivals, and big-name acts are likewise expected to get top billing on Breakaway.

Stay Tuned for... News Editor Dori Saltzman will be in Manhattan as NCL sweeps attending media away to a surprise location. Be sure to check Cruise Critic's news section at 7:30 p.m. for full details on the announcement.
