| Carnival Pride Rents Strollers |
Along the lines of providing bulky gear like scuba and snorkeling equipment for rent onboard, Carnival's Pride will now offer strollers. The new 88,500-ton ship, launched in January, is making available both single and double strollers at cost of $6 per day or $25 for the full seven day voyage.
The stroller rental program is a test effort; if the demand meets Carnival’s expectations the cruise line intends to spread it across the fleet. It’s particularly appropriate that the service starts on this ship because it’s based at Port Canaveral, just a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Orlando’s (and Disney’s) all-things-kids.
