Tropical Storm Gert Weakens; Bermuda Drops Tropical Storm Warning
(3:05 p.m. EDT) -- According to the 11 a.m. EDT update from the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Gert, the seventh named storm of the 2011 Atlantic hurricane season, is located approximately 95 miles east-southeast of Bermuda. The storm is moving north at 12 miles per hour, with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph, and is expected to pass east of Bermuda later today.

Cruise Ship Itinerary Changes

Norwegian Dawn is currently docked in King's Wharf, Bermuda, where it is scheduled to remain until Tuesday, before returning to Boston.

Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas was originally scheduled to arrive in King's Wharf at 9 a.m. EDT today, but its arrival has been delayed by the storm. A Royal Caribbean representative has confirmed that the ship is still scheduled to arrive in Bermuda sometime today.

Weather Outlook: Possible Affected Ships and Ports

The tropical storm warning for Bermuda has been discontinued. No further cruise impact is anticipated.
