First Impressions: Queen Elizabeth Overnighters Weigh in on New Cruise Ship
(11:25 a.m. EDT) -- Following Queen Elizabeth's royal naming ceremony on Monday, lucky guests were invited onboard for the night to get a taste of the new Cunard ship, and we wanted to know what they thought. The ship set off on its maiden voyage from Southampton on Tuesday.

Sure, the 2,092-passenger Queen Elizabeth is a throwback to the golden era of cruising with its Art Deco styles and memorabilia from past Cunard ships (including Queen Elizabeth 2). But it also has a number of modern touches, such as the Verandah restaurant, its a la carte fine-dining venue.

Take a look at what five overnight passengers thought of the ship in our slideshow.
