| Sasso Leaves Celebrity |
In its latest move to meld behind-the-scenes operations of Royal Caribbean and its sister cruise line Celebrity, RCCL president and chief operating officer Jack Williams will helm Celebrity as well. Which means that Rick Sasso, Celebrity’s president, will leave the company as of January 1, 2002. Sasso has been with Celebrity since 1995.
In its announcement, Royal Caribbean maintained that despite one head honcho overseeing both cruise lines, Celebrity will remain distinct and separate. | |
