Watch NCL Ceremonies Online

November 16, 2001
Norwegian Cruise Line, which is hosting an unusual dual ship christening tomorrow in Miami, is airing ceremonies, live, on the Internet. The festivities for Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Star begin at 10 a.m. E.S.T. The ships will be docked bow-to-bow; activities will include flag dancers, a high-energy, 150-piece local high school marching band that will split into two "dueling" groups playing songs with sun and star themes, Mylar streamers shooting from the sea to the sky, and cliff dancers who will dance on the bows of the ships. Then, ship godmothers (E! Entertainment¹s Brooke Burke and Miss America 2001 Angela Perez Baraquio) will crack a bottles of champagne on Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Star respectively.
