| Travel Tips for This Weekend’s Daily Telegraph Cruise Show |
Preparations are well underway for the Daily Telegraph's second annual Cruise Show, being held on Saturday (from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.) and on Sunday (from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.) at London's very central Olympia exhibition and conference centre.
Planning to come and chat about cruise holidays with us? Parking is available (prices start at £5 for two hours up to £35 for six to 10 hours) -- but for those planning on taking public transport, we did want to give you a heads up that your journey could be impacted by planned underground closures.
This Saturday and Sunday, there are a total of eight track closures. The Circle, Victoria and Waterloo & City lines will be suspended on both days. The District, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee, Metropolitan and Northern lines will be partly closed.
The nearest tube station to Olympia is Kensington Olympia, which is on the District Line; the District Line is only suspended between Earl's Court and Edgware Road, so if you are travelling from Victoria Station, services will not be impacted.
Bus service is another option; Olympia is accessible by bus lines 9, 10, 27, 28 and 391. Also, overland train services with Southern Rail are running as usual -- check National Rail for more information.
For help planning all London transportation options (bus, tubes and trains), Transport for London is an excellent resource with up-to-the-minute information.
