Norwegian Cruise Line's under-construction, innovative Norwegian Epic will feature what will potentially be the first cruise ship restaurant where no one will really care about the food....
Because the entertainment is so stupendous.
Last week, Cruise Critic got a sneak preview of Cirque Dreams and Dinner, a new meal-and-a-show concept that will debut when Epic launches on June 24. Cirque Productions, the company that's creating the spectacle for NCL, showcased the unique brand of entertainment -- which they dub as a "cirque-style of performance artistry with American circus arts and Broadway theatrics."
First impressions? After seeing just snippets of the spectacle, I'm certain that it's the first cruise ship entertainment I've ever seen that alone is enough to motivate me to book a trip onboard.
Come along with us to Pompano Beach, Florida, to relive our experience -- in photos! -- at Cirque Productions' studio. (And a tip: hang on through our slideshow for the prize at the end -- there's a terrific preview video to watch!)
