Join Us: Carnival Dream to be Christened in New York Tonight!
Carnival Dream Cruise Ship Where's Cruise Critic? We're on our way to New York City to sneak a peek at one of the year's most exciting new launches -- Carnival Dream, the largest ship ever for Carnival Cruise Lines -- and a pier-side, Big Apple-style christening celebration.

What's It All About? The ship has already been sailing for a few weeks (check out the first member reviews!) -- but not "officially" named. Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden will do those honors tonight as the chosen godmother. The christening ceremony will also kick off a major, multi-year partnership between the Fun Ship line and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A few ship highlights:

Expansive two-deck spa
Unique night club with indoor/outdoor access
New family cabins, including several with two bathrooms

Stay Tuned: Watch Cruise Critic for full news coverage from the event, scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. EST, plus insights and photos from our two-night preview cruise to follow. In the meantime, we're taking your questions about the ship -- so ask away here, or follow @melissapaloti on Twitter under hashtag #dream!
