| Hurricane Fred Steers Clear of Cruises This Weekend |
(4 p.m. EDT) -- Hurricane Fred, the sixth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, is still hanging out in the Atlantic Ocean -- posing no threat to land or cruise travel.
The National Hurricane Center is reporting that Hurricane Fred currently has maximum sustained winds of 80 miles per hour. The system is expected to weaken, and little motion is anticipated over the next few days.

At this point, no cruise ship itinerary changes have been reported due to this storm.
