Join Cruise Critic at AAA Travel Show, Win a Prize!
Next Tuesday, Cruise Critic will be attending and participating in a virtual travel show -- and you're invited to join us!
AAA (American Automobile Association) and CAA (Canadian Automobile Association) are hosting a live virtual event between 6 p.m. and midnight EDT on May 12, featuring Web cast presentations and panel discussions on various travel topics. Cruise Critic Editor in Chief Carolyn Spencer Brown will be speaking at the event about -- what else? -- cruising! And you could win a prize just for attending.
Here's how to get involved:
Register. You must be registered for the trade show in order to participate. To register, click here. Once you do that, you'll be able to visit the trade show online between 6 p.m. and midnight on May 12. You'll also be automatically entered to win a Magellan GPS unit from AAA.
Tune in. Be sure to tune in at 9 p.m. EDT for Cruise Critic's presentation -- "Top 10 Things to Know About Cruising." Other highlights on tap include a presentation on traveling with pets, "The 100 Best Vacations to Enrich Your Life" and a panel of AAA experts, who will be discussing national parks and road trips. There will also be special offers available for summer travel, sponsored by AAA Travel and CAA Travel.
Tweet! Just to make sure you are paying attention, we'll be giving away prizes (snazzy Cruise Critic laptop bags) to the first three people who tweet our top cruising tip on Twitter. Be sure to include @CruiseCritic in your tweet so we can identify you if you're a winner. New to Twitter? It's easy to sign up for a free account by visiting twitter.com. (Be sure to follow us!)
Got cruise questions? We'll be hosting a live Q&A session at the trade show after the presentation -- and then continuing the conversation via a live chat on Twitter! Just tweet any additional questions you may have to @CruiseCritic between 10 and 10:30 p.m. EDT. We'll answer as many as we can.
We'll see you, virtually, on Tuesday night. Partygoers: In the meantime, why not chat about these and other travel topics on our message boards? We'd love to hear your cruise travel tips!
