Norwegian Cruise Line announced that it will transfer the
Norway to parent company Star Cruises next year, in exchange for the SuperStar Leo which will enter service in December 2001 for year round Hawaii cruises.
The Norway will begin service in Asia under the Star fleet in September 2001. Prior to its repositioning to Star Cruises, the ship will embark on a summer season of seven-day, alternating Eastern/Western Caribbean "farewell cruises" as NCL's flagship.
