| Win a Lindblad Galapagos Cruise, Sail With Host of Jeopardy! |
Answer: Starting Monday, March 30, this expedition cruise prize will be awarded, one per day during the next 25 weekday episodes of "Jeopardy!"
Question: What is a Lindblad Expeditions cruise to the Galapagos Islands with Alex Trebek?
In commemoration of the popular quiz show's 25th anniversary, 25 people will win nine-night trips for two to the Galapagos. The vacation prizes include a week spent exploring one of the most biologically diverse regions on the planet aboard the rugged 3,132-ton, 110-passenger National Geographic Endeavor (as well as flights, pre-cruise hotel and some spending money). And again: Alex Trebek will join the winners on the Galapagos cruise, which is scheduled to take place this year from October 16 to 25.
Here's how the contest works: Watch the show weekdays from March 30 to May 1 and then visit www.jeopardy.com to submit the correct Final Jeopardy category -- you don't even need to submit the correct question -- from that day's episode. One winner will be selected each day from those who have posted correctly. Registration opens on March 30.
National Geographic Endeavor is a heavily reconstructed North Sea fishing trawler, originally built in 1966. Onboard, passengers will find an impressive range of expedition equipment, including a Remote Operated Vehicle (for recording images from below the sea), snorkeling and scuba gear, a hydrophone (for underwater listening), zodiacs (for landings), and a couple dozen two-person kayaks. Sailings are accompanied by 11 onboard naturalists and photographers from National Geographic. There's also an emphasis on using locally grown, organic food. Read more in our review.
