| London CRUISE Show a Success |
The first-ever CRUISE Show at London's ExCeL is well and truly underway with cruise travellers, and potential cruisers, heading down to the event.
Despite transport disruptions on the Docklands Light Railway and the Tube, thousands turned up on Saturday and Sunday to talk to cruise lines and book trips, listen to talks and generally get a feel for cruising.
Cruise Critic's stand was buzzing with people testing their geography skills on our Cruise IQ game in a bid to win a bottle of Champagne (there's still time to play today if you visit our stand!).
Cruise Critic members attending the show even arranged to meet up for a chat. Check out the photos here.
Some day two highlights have included:
Come Cruising talk with travel presenter Judith Chalmers
A New to Cruise talk in the Sky Travel Theatre with Cruise Critic's Editor in Chief Carolyn Spencer Brown, The Telegraph's Jane Archer and Sky Travel's Steve Read
A panel on the value of luxury cruising, chaired by Carolyn Spencer Brown
In the Wanderlust Theatre there were also great talks on some wonderful off-beat regions including Antarctica, The North Pole and The Northern Lights.
