| Storm Downgraded |
Cruisers heading out this weekend for sea voyages: there’s good news.
Tropical Storm Erin has been downgraded to a tropical depression (wind
speeds around 35 m.p.h.) and the National Weather Service is no longer
monitoring the storm. Still, it might be a good idea to pack a couple of sea
sickness remedies -- even 35 m.p.h. winds can make for a rocky sailing.
Ironically, this season, with no hurricanes yet in the Atlantic, is the 4th
latest start in 50 years.
