| Search for Missing NCL Passenger Called Off |
The four-day search for missing Norwegian Pearl passenger Jennifer Seitz ended today, according to reports by the Associated Press and other media outlets. The U.S. Coast Guard and Mexican Navy called off the search Monday afternoon, after searching more than 4,200 square miles near Cancun, Mexico, without finding the 36-year-old Florida woman.
Seitz was reported missing by her husband in the wee hours of Friday morning. Surveillance video showed a woman falling from the Norwegian Cruise Line ship around 8 p.m. Thursday (Christmas) night.
The FBI is investigating Seitz's disappearance, and has interviewed family members, crewmembers and other passengers. Everyone is cooperating with the investigation, but no conclusions have been reached as of yet.
We'll keep you posted.
