Tropical Storm Update

11 a.m. Thursday -- Tropical Storm Dean, the storm that yesterday sprung out of a tropical wave, shocking weather forecasters and drenching St. Maarten, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, has just as quickly subsided. With winds now at about 35 m.p.h, the storm, heading to the Turks and Caicos, has officially been downgraded. Weather officials have canceled all storm watches and warnings.
