| Passengers Fall Off Gangway, Into Sea |
In an odd though fortunately not tragic incident, two passengers on Fred. Olsen's Black Watch fell into the sea when crossing the gangway between port and ship. A crew member also fell. The accident was first reported in The Telegraph.
According to a statement from Fred. Olsen, the ship was moored in Bilbao yesterday when winds kicked up and ripped the gangway away from the dock.
The two tourists and crew member were helped out of the water by the ship's crew and were taken to hospital, where they remain under observation. Traveling companions have remained with them in Bilbao though the ship is staying on schedule and traveling to Honfleur.
There was no damage to Black Watch.
