Norbert Passes Over Mexico; Loses Hurricane Status
Hurricane Norbert has now passed over Mexico and has weakened to a tropical storm.
Hurricane watches and tropical storm warnings have been in place across much of the Baja Peninsuala as Hurricane Norbert passed overnight.
Despite strong winds, some heavy rain and a number of altered cruise itineraries earlier in the week, the storm passed well north of the popular tourist destination of Cabo San Lucas.
This will be our last report on Tropical Storm Norbert as it moves inland.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Odile is still hugging the Mexican coast, but it is now beginning to weaken to a tropical depression.
