Tropical Storm Hanna Impacts NCL's Spirit, Sky

September 2, 2008
Update, 9:50 a.m. EDT: Hanna became a Category One hurricane yesterday afternoon, but has since been knocked back down to tropical storm status. We anticipate Hanna will be an issue along the Eastern Seaboard all week. Stay tuned for the latest.

(August 31, 3:30 p.m. EDT) -- Tropical Storm Hanna, which is now heading towards the Bahamas and Grand Turk, is impacting cruises bound for the Bahamas and the Caribbean including voyages currently sailing on Norwegian Sky, Carnival Miracle, Norwegian Spirit and Carnival Glory. For up-to-date info, see our listing of port changes.

At this point, the storm, still a tropical swirler, is slated for Monday landfall in either the Turks and Caicos or in the Bahamas. It's too early to tell if, later in the week, cruises embarking (or debarking) from one of Florida's coastal ports will be impacted.
