The big announcement will take place between 8:30 until about 9:30 p.m.; the trade show itself is happening from 6 p.m. until midnight (click here to register).
Before, during and after the big event, you're invited to drop by Cruise Critic's party for trivia contests, giveaways and special guest chats. Here's the rundown:
6 p.m.: Trivia contest #1. Questions will be posted on the Cocktail & PJ Party forum; first person to e-mail the correct answer to email@example.com will win a goodie bag loaded with Cruise Critic and AAA logo gear. Click here for Rules & Regulations.
6:30 p.m.: Trivia contest #2. Also: Special guest Chris Harms, founder of wheresbennie.com, is stopping by to answer your questions about Bennie the Royal Caribbean traveling bear (how he started the program and how you can get involved), and talk about cruising for kids and teens.
7 p.m.: Trivia contest #3. Also: Special guest Teijo Niemela, editor of the industry magazine Cruise Business Review, will be answering questions about new-builds -- Oasis and any other ship you're curious about (hint: he's recently visited Celebrity Solstice at its shipyard).
7:30 p.m.: Trivia contest #4. We'll start the one-hour countdown to the big reveal -- what do you think will be announced? Brainstorm with us!
8 p.m.: Trivia contest #5.
8:30 p.m.: Trivia contest #6. All eyes on the AAA travel show for Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas announcement....
9 p.m.: Trivia contest #7.
9:30 p.m. Trivia contest #8. Start watching Cruise Critic News for our take on what's been revealed!
10 p.m. Trivia contest #9. So, what did you think? Chat with Cruise Critic members and staffers until midnight ... or well past.
10:30 p.m. Trivia contest #10.
11 p.m. Trivia contest #11.
11:30 p.m. Trivia contest #12.
Bonus giveaway: At the end of the night, all 12 goodie bag winners will be entered into a random drawing for five hotel gift cards from AAA valued at $100 to $150! Good luck!
In the meantime, feel free to get the party started early by leaving questions for our "celebrity" guests, posting polls, sharing your predictions for tonight -- anything goes!
