Couple Weds on Titanic
Romantic or macabre? An American couple reportedly married last week amidst the sunken remains of the RMS Titanic. The New York-based couple, David Leibowitz and Kimberly Miller, tied the knot in a mini-sub that perched on the ship’s bow -- the replica on which Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet made cinematic and romantic history. The Russian-registered sub was required to descend some 2 1/2 miles under the Atlantic, off the coast of Newfoundland, Canada.

Leibowitz and Miller, both avid scuba divers, won the opportunity as a result of a promotional stunt by a British-based company called SubSea Explorer, a diving-related Internet portal. The ceremony cost SubSea about $560,000 and was conducted by Russian submarine captain Antaloy Sagalvich.
