| MSC Cruises Adds Online Check-In |
MSC Cruises is attempting to make the check-in service as easy and time-saving as possible for cruise travellers in Europe -- by introducing MSC Express, a new online service.
Passengers will initially have to visit the new Web site (which is also accessible via the MSC Cruises Web site). Once logged on, passengers enter their booking information, which includes a reservation number, name and surname, together with the ship name and departure date.
After inputting these details, a second screen is displayed where passengers' personal info need to be entered in order to complete online check-in.
This then produces a printout which allows the traveller to be fast tracked through check-in at the port, thanks to the addition of dedicated MSC Express desks.
The MSC Express service is currently available to passengers departing from the ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples, Palermo, Bari, Venice, Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia, Kiel, Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
