Welcome to San Diego, Your Car Burned Down
As if saying goodbye to your cruise vacation wasn't hard enough, six families will return to the Port of San Diego to find their cars have been damaged by fire.

NBC San Diego reports that around 5 a.m. on Monday morning, six cars caught on fire at the Five Star parking lot at the port of San Diego. A trio of fire trucks were needed to put out the blaze. Three cars are reported to be severely damaged, with no mention of the level of damage to the others. As of yesterday, investigators do not know what started the fire or have a dollar estimate of the damage.

Ships sailing out of San Diego include Holland America's Ryndam, Oosterdam and Zaandam; Carnival Elation and Spirit; and Dawn Princess. If you're on one of these ships and you parked at this lot, you may want to have a friend on standby, just in case you suddenly need a ride home from the port.
