Tropical Storm Kiko Weakens Off Mexican Riviera

Though Tropical Storm Kiko is continuing to move away from mainland Mexico and is expected to bypass Baja California, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced a few cautionary itinerary changes for ships in the region.

Carnival Pride called at Ensenada today rather than staying at sea, and will remain at sea Wednesday instead of visiting Puerto Vallarta. That ship is on a weeklong cruise roundtrip from Long Beach.

Carnival Spirit also called at Ensenada today rather than staying at sea, and will remain at sea Wednesday instead of visiting Acapulco. Spirit will call at Acapulco Thursday instead of Zihuatanejo, and Zihuatanejo Friday instead of Manzanillo.

We'll keep you posted.
