Tropical Storm Barry Kicks off Hurricane Season

June 3, 2007
(9:10 a.m.) -- Friday was the first official day of the Atlantic hurricane season -- and Tropical Storm Barry showed up to celebrate.

The storm didn't last long though, because as of Saturday evening, Barry was downgraded to a tropical depression, and both the tropical storm warning and watch were discontinued.

At this point, no cruise lines have announced any itinerary changes. This will be our last update on Tropical Depression Barry.
