Navigator Passes CDC Exam

April 2, 2001
Kudos to the Radisson Seven Seas Navigator, which aced its CDC exam last week, for entering that rarefied stratus. The exam, performed by the Centers for Disease Control and Sanitation’s Vessel Inspection Program, is a stringent one, checking out sanitary conditions on anything from foyer tiles to kitchen counters to water salinization. Oddly, the Navigator actually flunked its first-ever exam in December, 1999 with a 76 score (86 is passing) but has, ever since, flirted seriously with that all-too-perfect 100 by racking up a series of 98 scores.
