Westerdam Moves to Costa in 2002
More ship swapping from Carnival Corporation: following last week’s announcement that Seabourn Sun will be transferred to Holland America in June 2002, the parent company unveiled plans to move the Westerdam to Costa Cruises around the same time.

The ship will undergo some minor renovations, including a white hull and the Costa’s signature funnel emblazoned with the company's giant "C" logo.

Just last month Carnival transferred the former Carnival Tropicale to the Italian cruise operator.
